I have never been one to write my feelings and thoughts on the internet, and have been very much against the whole blogging trend. However, I am kind of liking this idea better than other social networking sites. I figured it would be a good spot to talk about my exciting experiences while I am in Texas!
Coming to Texas was by far one of the most gutsy decisions I have had to make. I came here only knowing a few people. I had to leave all my friends and family in Colorado, and all my friends in Kansas. Once again, leaving my comfort zone to pursue my dreams. This was not easy for me. I came here with a new found confidence and excitement, along with some anxiety. However, the school is wonderful, my professors are wonderful, and I am starting to make some great friends. I have found that through these trying times my faith has become stronger than ever before. It's a pretty great feeling.
I am getting to do what I've dreamed of, and l get to experience a whole new state and community as well!
